CALCETINES

Mi propósito de año nuevo en 2019 fue tejer el primer par de calcetines. Casi no lo consigo, pero hace un rato que los he terminado,. He sseguido un patrón básico de arriba a abajo. Aunque Jessica y Nuria (mis amigas expertas en calcetines) me recomendaron el sistema desde los dedos hacia arriba. Lo intenté, pero las instrucciones me resultaron más difíciles de seguir. El próximo par lo haré como ellas me recomendaron. No están perfectos, pero no están mal para ser los primeros. Muchas gracias Nuria por la lana.

My new year's purpose in 2019 was the first pair of socks. I almost didn't get it, but  I've just finished it. I've been following a basic pattern from top to bottom. Although Jessica and Nuria (my expert friends in socks) recommended me the toes-up pattern. I tried, but the instructions were more difficult. The next pair I will do as they recommended. They are not perfect, but not bad to be the first one. Thank you very much Nuria for the wool.

Le he cogido el gustillo a tener un proyecto que dure el año entero.

Después de la "Manta Climática" en 2017 y la "Grantastic" en 2019 para el año próximo toca una de punto "52 Square Pick Up Blanket". Este proyecto es muy sencillo: Son combinaciones de puntos derecho y revés. Un cuadrado cada semana. ya tengo hecho los cálculos. Para que cuadre, además de los 52 propuestos, haré 4 de punto bobo o arroz en las esquinas. En total serán 56 (7x8). Y para evitar tener que coser tanto haré 7 tiras de 8 motivos 8 tiras de 7 motivos (porque sino la manta será demasiado alargada) Ya lana es la misma que he usado para las mantas anteriores.

I like to have an all year project.

After the 'Climate Blanket' in 2017, and the 'Grantastic'  in 2019, it's time to a new one. This time it will be a knitting blanket '52 Square Pick Up'. This project is pretty easy: It's only knit and purl combinations. A square every week. Besides de 52 squares I'll knit 4 more in 'fool' or 'rice' knit. Insted knit 56 squares, I'll knit 7 rectangles with 8 motifs 8 rectangles with 7 motifs (because the blanket 7 x 8 would be  too much elongated) to avoid sewing too much.

REUNIÓN DE DICIEMBRE

Hoy hemos tenido la última reunión del año. Esta vez en casa de Lola que hace poco la operaron de las rodillas y tiene que hacer un poco de reposo (ese año parece que tenemos mala pata) y nos invitó a su casa. Sin más os dejo con las fotos. Nos vemos en 2020.

MI REGALO

Esta mañana he recogido en correos mi regalo. Me lo envía María Angeles. Este año nos hemos cruzado los regalos. Ya me había gustado el chal cuando lo vi en facebook, pero en directo es mucho más bonito. Estoy encantada con todo. Hasta me ha enviado unas rosquillas caseras que están deliciosas.

This morning I've picked my gift up. It was sent by María Angeles. This year we have exchanged gifts. I loved the shawl when I saw in facebook a few days ago, but it is pretty beautiful in reral. I'm pleased with everything. She had even sent some handmade sweets that are delicious.

CHAL OTOÑAL

Otro chal acabado. Éste es un regalo para mi tita Antoñita. 

Iba a ser un regalo de cumpleaños, pero llega con un mes de retraso.

AMIGA INVISIBLE DE EL DESVÁN

Otro año más me he apuntado al intercambio de Amiga Invisible de "El Desván". Este año mi regalo viaja a Asturias, más concretamente a Avilés, igual que el año pasado, aunque la destinataria es María Ángeles en vez de Pilar. Espero que le guste y lo disfrute.

Again , I've sign up on the Invisible Friend Swap organized by "El Desván". This time my gift is travelling to Avilés (Asturias) as last year, but now it is going to María Ángeles instead of Pilar.

I hope her to like and enjoy it.

Como siempre se trata de enviar algo tejido por nosotras, material para que nuestra amiga teja y algunos dulces o similares.

Además del chal he incluido, 2 ovillos para tejer sendos chales, una caja con mini huevos de chocolate, un calendario solidario con unas ilustraciones preciosas y una tabla de madera para los patés de diseño navideño.

As usual, we have to send something knitting or crocheting by us, some skeins to use her, and some sweets or similar.

Besides the shawl, I've added 2 cake skeins to made a couple of shawls, a box with mini chocolate eggs, a solidarity calendar with superb illustrations and a wooden plank to serve pate in Christmas time.

Tejido, como diría una amiga, a "ojímetro". La idea la saqué de una imagen de internet.

Estoy planeando hacer otro en tonos morados para mejorar el patrón.

This hat was crocheted as a copy of a photo that I saw on the internet.

I'm planning to crochet another one in purple colours to improve the pattern.

CHAQUETA PARA JF

Esta lana la compré hace unos meses, pero la dejé en espera porque enseguida empezaba el calor y JF está creciendo muy rápido. Cumplió 11 años hace un mes y ya es casi tan alto como yo.

Le hice la franja gris pensando que me iba a faltar lana, pero al final he tenido de sobra.

JF está muy contento y la he acabado justo cuando a empezado el frío.

I bought this wool a few months ago. I didn't knit until now because JF is growing very fast. I've just finished now that is time to wear it. JF is 11 since October and he is almost tall as  me.

I knitted a grey line because I thought that I had a lack of wool, but I've actually had enough.

JF is pretty happy with his new jacket.

REUNION NOVIEMBRE: AMIGA INVISIBLE

Ayer celebramos nuestro amigo invisible. El regalo más repetido un chal (y por cierto todos preciosos), el más espectacular el que tejió Pepita para Mercedes: un mandala gigante.

Yesterday we met and celebrated our "invisible friend". The most repeated gif the shawls (and all of them were precious), the most amazing the giant mandala crocheted by Pepita to Mercedes.
