REUNIÓN DE SEPTIEMBRE

Ayer hicimos un cambio de última hora a nuestra reunión. Marisa se hizo un pequeño esguince y como no podía salir de casa nos invitó a la suya. Nos acompañó Lorena, una alumna muy aventajada de Mercedes, y que de ahora en adelante será una nueva amiga.

Yesterday we have a last minute change to our meeting. Marisa got a little sprain and, as she couldn´t leave the house, she invited us to go there. We were joined by Lorena, a very successfuL Mercedes' student  and henceforth she will be a new friend. Without more words I leave you with the photos.

AMIGA INVISIBLE (SEGUNDA PARTE)

A principios de verano tejí un chal para regalarlo estas Navidades. Como me sobró un poco de hilo he tejido un pequeño bolso también. Lo tenía pendiente de coserle el forro pero, como tenía la máquina de coser estropeada, no había podido coserlo hasta ahora.

El patrón, como muchas veces, improvisado sobre la marcha.

In early summer I crocheted a shawl to be a Christmas gift. As I had some yarn left I've crocheted  a small bag too. I had to sew the lining but I couldn't do it until now because I had the sewing machine broken.

The pattern is ,as very often, improvised.

TERMINADO AL FIN

Como se suele decir "a la tercera va la vencida". Tres veces he empezado este jersey. He tardado casi tres meses en tejer algo tan sencillo como esto. La primera vez lo deshice porque el punto no era apropiado, la segunda porque no calculé bien los puntos y era demasiado grande, la tercera fue la definitiva. De todas formas aún tengo un par de meses para poder usarlo este año.

As it is said "the third time is the charm". I started this jersey three times. I've needed almost three months to finish something so easy like this. First time I undid it because the pattern wasn't appropriate, second time I undid it because I was knitting it too much huge, and the third time was the definitive. In any case, I have a couple of month left to wear it this year.
