Llevaba un par de años sin hacer la recopilación de libros leídos. Estos han sido los de 2020:
En español:
"Un mundo sin fin" de Ken Follet. La segunda parte de la trilogía de "Los pilares de la tierra". Lo leí en un mini club de lectura con dos amigas. Me decepcionó bastante.Se nota que trata de aprovechar la estela del primer libro pero ni los personajes ni la trama están a la altura de la primera parte.
"El hereje" de Miguel Délibes. Me resultó interesante saber acerca de los grupos luteranos clandestinos en castilla. No sabía que habían existido. Pero "El camino" y "Cinco horas con Mario" me gustaron mucho más.
En inglés:
"High Fidelity" de Nick Horby. Bastante divertido aunque a veces no podía soportar que los protagonistas fueran tan inmaduros.
"Humanos a breve historia de como la hemos pifiado" de Tom Phillips. Algunas partes son desternillantes.
"La sociedad literiaria y del pastel de piel de patata de Guernsey" de Mary Ann Shaffer y Anne Barrows. Es una delicia. Estoy bastante orgullosa de haber leído este libro. Lo compré el verano de 2019. Empecé a leerlo y lo dejé porque me pareció muy difícil. Este verano le di una segunda oportunidad y me lo leí rápidamente. Ahí fue donde me di cuenta de todo lo que aprendí en el curso pasado.
"El curioso incidente del perro a medianoche" de Mark Haddon. Sencillo de leer y te ayuda a entender como funciona el pensamiento de un adolescente con síndrome Asperger.
"El hijo del trapero" de Kirk Douglas. De este voy por la mitad. Bastante entretenido como muchas anécdotas porque este hombre era muy atrevido y caradura.

In Spanish:
'Word without end' by Ken Follet. I read it in a small book club. It's the second part of the trilogy 'The pillars of the Earth'. I was quite disappointed because the plot and the characters weren't up to the first part.
'The heretic' by Miguel Delibes. It was quite interesting to learn about Lutheran groups in Castile. I didn't know about them until I read this book. I prefer 'Five hours with Mario' and 'The path'.
In English:
'High fidelity' by Nick Horby. It was funny but I sometimes I couldn't stand the immadurity of the characters.
'Humans a brief History of how we f*cked it all up' by Tom Phillips. Some pages are hilarious.
'The Guernsey Literary and potato peel pie society" by Mary Ann Shaffer and Ann Barrows. It touchs your heart. I feel proud of reading this book. I bought it in summer 2019 but I didn't read because it was too much for me. This summer I could read easily. Reading it, I realized how much English I learnt last course.
'The curious incident of the dog in the night-time' by Mark Haddon. Easy to read and it helps you to understand a bit how an Asperger teen thinks.
'The ragman's son' by Kirk Douglas. His autobiography. I've read only half book. It's entertaining, full of anecdotes this man so daring and cheeky.
