La tarea de marzo.

REUNIÓN MARZO 2019

Ayer tuvimos la reunión mensual. Esta vez fuimos a la confiteria Laura en Sangonera la Seca, un sitio muy tentador ;)

Conocimos a Aldan, el hijo de Bel, y le hicimos entrega de la manta y otros regalitos. El niño es una preciosidad y muy tranquilo, se pasó casi todo el tiempo durmiendo.

Yesterday we had our monthly meeting. This time we went to Laura's candy shop in Sangonera la Seca, a really tempting place.

We met Aldan, Bel's son, and we gave him our presents: the blanket and another little things. The baby is beautiful and really peaceful, we was sleeping almost time.

 Este suéter lo tejió mi madre para mí cuando yo estaba en el instituto (hará unos 30 años)

 y sigue igual que el primer día. 

This sweater was knitted by my mother to me when I was in high school (maybe 30 years ago) and it is the same as the first day.

CONCURSO DE CALIGRAMAS

Y estos son todos los caligramas participantes en el concurso.

 Me he quedado sorprendida porque pensaba que los estudiantes se animarían más. 

En unos días se sabrá el resultado.

And these are all the calligrams included in the contest.

  I was surprised because I thought the students would be more interesed in taking part.

In a few days the result will be known.

NOAH

Hace un par de meses tejí un suéter para mi ahijado. A su hermano mayor le gustó mucho y quería otro. Dicho y hecho (bueno no tan rápido) la tita Ana le ha hecho otro muy parecido y Noah está encantado.

A couple of months ago, I knitted a sweater to my Godson. His older brother liked it very much and he wanted another one. Said and done (better said, not so quick), auntie Ana has knitted a very similar sweater and Noah is delighted.

POSTAL

Con esta postal de San Valentín participé en un concurso de la EOI hace un par de años. 

Me acabo de dar cuenta que no la subí en su día. La EOI cada curso organiza un concurso diferente y a mí me gusta participar en ellos. Aquí podéis ver mi participación de este año y la del año pasado.

With this Valentine's postcard I took part in a contest of  the Languages School a couple of years ago.

I have just realized that I did not upload it in his day. The Languages School each year organizes a different contest and I like joining in them. Here you can see my participation this year and last year.

CALIGRAMA

La escuela de idiomas cada curso por estas fechas organiza algún concurso. Este año han propuesto que hagamos un caligrama. Yo había visto este tipo de imágenes muchas veces, pero ignoraba que tenían un nombre en concreto. Yo siempre me apunto a estas actividades, más que nada porque es otra oportunidad de aprender.

The language school every year in the middle of the course organizes some contest. This year they have proposed that we make some calligram. I had seen this kind of images many times, but I did not know they had a specific name. I always sign up for these activities, mostly because it is another way of learning.

MANTA GRUPAL (I)

Esta manta la estamos tejiendo las Tejedoras Murcianas Reunidas. Es un regalo para una amiga. Nos hemos repartido el trabajo. Unas chicas han tejido los grannies, yo los he cosido y mi madre va a hacerle la puntilla.

This blanket is being knitted by Tejedoras Murcianas Reunidas. It is gift for a friend. We had divided the job. Some girls have crocheted the grannies, I've sewed them and my mother is going to crochet the lace.

Una foto más de cerca. No ha sido fácil coserla bien. Aunque se trata del mismo patrón cada una tiene su forma de tejer y los grannies han quedado diferentes. Para disimular un poco le he bordado las flores en las esquinas.

A close view. It haven't been easy to sew it properly. Although it is the same pattern, everyone has its style and the grannies seems different. I've embroidered flowers in the squares to hide the differences.
