AITOR (II)

 

El tiempo pasa volando. Aitor tiene casi un año ya. Para celebrarlo le he tejido este suéter. Este modelo ranglán con botones me parece el ideal para niños. De hecho lo he tejido con diferentes variantes muchas veces ya. He usado un resto de lana que aún me quedaba de la manta de la temperatura y el sobrante del último chal.

Time flies. Aitor is  almost one. I've knitted this sweater to celebrate his birthday. I think that this pattern with ranglan sleeves and buttons is perfect for toddlers. In fact, I knitted several version in the past. This time I used leftovers from the climate blanket and from the last shawl.

18 AÑOS Y 1 DÍA

 

Ese es el tiempo que ha pasado entre una fotografía y la otra. la primera es el día de Reyes de 2004. La segunda de hoy. He repetido el modelo que llevaba mi hija para la nieta de mi amiga Carmen del grupo de tejedoras. No he podido hacer el volante de las mangas porque no me quedaba suficiente lana. A ella le ha encantado, espero a los padres les guste también.

18 years and 1 day, this is the time from one photo to the other. The first one was shot in January 6th 2004. The second one has been shot today. I repeated the pattern that wore my daughter in the first picture to Carmen's (a knitter friend) granddaughter. I couldn't knit the frill in the sleeves because I hadn't enough wool. She is very pleased with the present. I hope the parents liked it as well.

Este cuadro  de 50x 60 cm aproximadamente, lo pintó un compañero de trabajo a partir de una foto de 10x15 cm muy similar a la del principio. 

This is a  20x24' picture that painted a colleague from another 6x4' photo  pretty similar to the first one.

ALBA (II)

 Celia tiene una pequeña hermana mayor. No quería dejar de hacerle un regalo a ella también. He usado el ovillo que me sobró de su manta y un resto del chal de mariposas. Estoy muy contenta del resultado, sobre todo del cuello. El patrón, como casi siempre, sobre la marcha.

Celia has a little older sister. I wanted to girft her also. I used the leftovers Alba's blanket and the Butterflies' shawl . I'm proud of the result, specially with the collar. The patter, as usual, made while knitting.

CELIA

 

El 22 de diciembre llegó la más joven de la familia. 

Como a todos los peques le tenía que tejer su propia mantita. 

Punto de ondas hasta acabar con la lana y rematada con punto cangrejo.

22nd December was born the youngest member of the family.

I made her own baby blanket, as usual.
