DANIEL

 

Una compañera de clase está embarazada y a principios de verano tendrá su primer hijo. 

Aprovechando que tuve unos días de vacaciones en Semana Santa tejí estos patucos para Daniel.

A classmate is pregnant and in the beggining of summer she is going to give birth 

for the first time. 

I knitted these baby booties to Daniel while I was on Easter holidays.

MAGNOLIA

 Mi querida amiga Alhana me propuso la pasada Navidad hacer un mini KAL entre las dos. Elegimos el patrón "Magnolia". Este patrón tiene varias versiones. Yo elegí la versión con mangas sin calado. Y bueno, hice un poco de trampa porque estaba tan cansada de tejer con agujas circulares que las mangas las hice con las agujas rectas y llevan costura. Creo que está por llegar el día que sigua un patrón al pie de la letra ;)

My dear friend Alhana proposed to make a mini KAL last Christmas. We chose the pattern 'Magnolia'. This pattern has different versions. I choose the one with sleeves without lace. I cheat a bit because I was tired of knitting with circular needles and I knitted the sleeves with straight needles and I sewed them. I always change something in all patterns ;)

Alhana por su parte escogió la versión de mangas ajustadas y con calado. Ella no hizo trampas y está todo tejido sin costuras. Aquí podéis ver el suyo.

Alhana choose the lace sleeves version. She didn't cheat and it's all knitted seamless. Here you can see hers.

 Mi amiga Leo acaba de ser abuela por primera vez. Para su nieto he tejido esta manta.

My friend Leo has became a grandmother. I've crocheted this blanket for her grandson.

FEBRERO EN BLANCO

 Este mes no voy a poder terminar nada porque cuando se tejen varias cosas a la vez no cunde.Llevo entre manos cuatro proyectos, tres de punto y uno de ganchillo:

1.- Magnolia en un mini CAL con mi querida Alhana.

2.- Una chaqueta para mi marido.

3.- Una chaqueta para mí.

4.- Una manta de bebé para el nieto de una amiga que está a punto de nacer.

Así que hasta marzo no tendré nada acabado.

This month I won't fisnish any project, because when you are doing different patterns you can't finish then soon. Currently, I'm making three knitting jobs and one more crocheted.

1.- Magnolia in a little CAL with my dear Alhana.

2.- A cardigan for my husband.

3.- A cardigan for me.

4.- A baby blanket to one friend's first grandchild who is going to be born this month.

So, until March I don't believe that I can finish something.

¿QUIÉN SE PUEDE RESISTIR?

 

Mi marido me ha pedido que le teja un suéter. Después de hace casi 20 años ya le tocaba.

Una buena amiga a va ser abuela por primera vez.

CHALECO MULTICOLOR

 

Los ovillos multicolores estaban destinados a ser un chal, pero cambié de idea. 

La lana amarilla s un resto de la manta que tejí en 2019.

The  multicoloured balls were bought to became a shawl but I changed my mind. 

The yellow one is a leftover from the blanket that I crocheted in 2019.

CHAQUETA MULTICOLOR

 

Compré unos ovillos hace un par de meses con la idea de tejer sendos chales. Pero, pensándolo mejor, he tejido una chaqueta y con los otros estoy tejiendo un chaleco. Y es que los chales me gustan mucho pero al final los uso muy poco. Las fotos son de Nochevieja, la acabé por la tarde. Como no se puede ir a ningún sitio, ¿Qué mejor plan que pasar la tarde tejiendo y viendo tus películas favoritas? Me dio un puntazo y me teñí las canas de azul con uno de esos tintes que se van en unos cuantos lavados.

I bought a few balls two months ago with the idea of crocheting a couple of shawls. But, better thought, I've knitted a jacket and I'm knitting a vest. I love shawls but I wear them only in few occasions. The photos were made in New Year's Eve. So that we can go anywhere What's better plan than spending the afternoon knitting and watching your favourites films? By the way I dyed my white hair blue.
