CHAL MULTICOLOR (I)

Hace unos meses Lucy estuvo visitando a la la familia en Buenos Aires y las chicas del grupo de tejedoras le hicimos encargos para que nos trajera lanas de Argentina. Yo en concreto le compré dos madejas de algodón multicolor teñido a mano para hacer dos mini chales para mi hija y para mí.

Uno de ellos ya lo he terminado (es una versión del chal Elise) y estrenado.

A few months ago Lucy was visiting the family in Buenos Aires and the group did her bring us wool from Argentina . In my case I bought two skeins of multicolored hand dyed cotton to make two mini shawls for my daughter and me. One of them already have done ( is a version of shawl Elise) and released.

LA PAPARRA DE NEKANE (y V)

Con un día de retraso he acabado mi paparra de Nekane. Me ha hecho mucha ilusión hacerla. Nekane es una profesora estupenda, siguiendo sus instrucciones todo parece más fácil. Por cierto, si os apetece hacer otra hacedla antes del 11 de diciembre y entraréis en el sorteo que ha organizado por sorpresa.

El último día tocaba hacer los ojales, coser los botones y los pequeños remates. Mis ojales han sido una birria. No se si por culpa de la máquina que necesita algún ajuste o porque no yo no le he cogido el punto hoy a la máquina. Al final he tenido que volver a hacerlos a mano y ya se han quedado medio bien.

One day later I have finished my Paparra´s Nekane . It has made me very excited to do it. Nekane is a great teacher, following his instructions everything seems easier . By the way, if you feel like doing another sew it before December 11 and enter the prize draw organized by surprise. 

The last day was make buttonholes, sew buttons and small auctions. My buttonholes have been a mess .  I don´t know it it is because of the machine that needs adjustment or because I have not gotten the point today to the machine. In the end I have had to sew them again by hand and they are half right.

LA PAPARRA DE NEKANE (IV)

Hoy tocaba coser el cuello al cuerpo.

Ya sólo quedan los ojales y los botones. 

Definitivamente debería haber escogido una tela de algodón, ésta es demasiado dura para coser.

 El cuello me ha costado bastante.

Today has been the time to sew de neck to the body.
Now just need the buttons and the buttonholes.
Definitely I should have choosena cotton fabric, this one is too hard to sew.
The neck has been complicate.

LA PAPARRA DE NEKANE (III)

Hoy tocaba el cuello, lo más difícil para mí. Pero con las explicaciones de Nekane, video incluido no hay nada que se resista. No me ha quedado perfecto, pero tampoco está mal.

Today is time for the neck, the more difficult to me. But with Nekane´s instrucctions all is easy. Mi neck isn´t perfect but ins´t bad.

LA PAPARRA DE NEKANE (II)

Después del segundo día así está la paparra. He tenido que usar el hilván para las tiras y para dar la vuelta a las vistas que, entre que no estoy acostumbrada a hacerlo con alfileres y la tela es resbaladiza, no había manera.
After the second day  the Paparra is like you see. I had to use basting for strips and flip the view that between I'm not used to doing with pins and the fabric is slippery, there´s no way no sew good.

LA PAPARRA DE NEKANE (I)

Hoy es el primer día de la convocataria de Nekane y yo casi que no llego a tiempo, 

pero al final he sacado un ratito para cortar las piezas. 

Mañana más.

Today es de first day of Nekane´s call and almost I didn´t arrive on time, 

but at last I've taken a little while to cut the pieces. 

Tomorrow more.

CHAQUETA FUCSIA

El hilo de esta chaqueta lo compré el año pasado a final de las rebajas y lo tenía olvidado. En septiembre organizando los armarios me encontré con él y me he tejido la chaqueta para usar en la oficina para taparme del aire acondicionado. Si no fuera por esto la habría hecho de manga larga o una camiseta de tirantes, porque la climatología de Murcia te hace pasar del verano al invierno con un par de semanas de transición como mucho.

The thread of this jacket I bought last year to the end of discounts and had forgotten it. In September organizing closets I met him and I've knitted it to cover me of the air  conditioning. If it were not for this I would have done long sleeves or a tank , because the weather of Murcia makes you switch from summer to winter with two weeks of transition as much.
