CHAQUETA TWEED

 

Hace un par de meses, inspirada por internet, me puse manos a la obra a tejer esta chaqueta de tweed que es perfecta para trabajar en la oficina cuando tienes la calefacción cortada.

El patrón como suele ser habitual improvisado sobre la marcha y anotado en mi libreta de patrones. Repito los botones. Los compré en una oferta especial y aún me quedan unos pocos.

A couple of month ago, inspired by the internet, I got the ball rolling for knitting this tweed jacket that is perfect for working in the office while we are run out of heating.

The pattern, as usual, improvised on the go and written down in my pattern notebook. I've repeted with the buttons. I bought them with a special discount and I still have a few more.

ADORNOS NAVIDEÑOS PARA MIS AMIGOS

 

La semana pasada dejé de lado mi chaqueta de tweed para crochetear todos estos adornos para repartir entre mis amigos.

Espero que todos lleguen a su destino antes de Nochebuena.

Last week I put in stand by my tweed cardigan for crocheting all these Christmas ornaments for my friends.

I hope all arrive in destiny before Christmas Eve.

CHAQUETA GANCHILLO

 Al fin he terminado uno de los trabajos que os mostré a medio hacer en octubre. Los otros dos los he dejado en espera para la próxima primavera porque son de hilo de verano. Ahora estoy de lleno con las lanas.

Al last, I've finished one of the projects that I showed you  in October. The others are waiting for spring because they are made with summer threads. Now that winter is coming I'm working with wool.

GUANTES

 

Mi primer par de guantes tejidos con agujas de doble punta. Hace casi treinta años tejí un par con agujas largas. Quedaron más rústicos, pero no estaban mal (tengo que buscarlos y hacerles foto).

Después tejí unos cuantos mitones pero hacía mucho tiempo que no tejía nada similar.

Estos son para mi yerno que hoy cumple 23 años.

This is my first pair of gloves knitted with double pointed needles. I knitted another pair with large needles almost 30 years ago. They are coarse but not bad (I have to search them and take a photo).

After those I knitted some mittens but it was long time ago that I didn't knit something similar.

These are for my son in law that today is 23.

PRIMERA REUNIÓN DEL 2022

Entre el covid y lo que no es covid, estabamos sin reunirnos desde diciembre. El sábado pasado hubo reunión en Archena, con muchas bajas (ciática, gripe...)así que hemos propuesto hacer la próxima en el hall de un hospital, jajaja. Pero las buenas costumbres no se pierden.

 Among covid and other problems, we hadn't met since December. Last Saturday there was a meeting in Archena, with some absences due to some deseases (sciatica, flu...), so that we made proposal: Next meeting in a hospital hall, hahaha. But good customs don't finish.

DEMASIADA INSPIRACIÓN

 Esto es lo que pasa cuando estás demasiado inspirada. Septiembre ha pasado y no os he mostrado nada porque todo lo que estoy haciendo está en proceso. A ver si consigo centrarme y en octubre acabo algo.

This is what happens when you are too much inspired. September has finished and I didn't show you anything because all is in progress. I hope to be concentrated and finishing the projects in October.

C'est ce que se produit quand tu es trop inspirée. Septembre est passé et je n'ai  montré pas rien car tout c'est en cours. Voyons si je peux me concentrer et en Octobre et je termine quelque chose.

CHAQUETA DE BAMBÚ PARA EL OTOÑO

Acabo de terminar esta chaqueta. Es lo primero que tejo de bambú. Me parece un material muy recomendable. Se desliza por las agujas muy suavemente y se deja tejer muy rápido. Creo que repetiré la experiencia pronto.

I've just finished this cardigan. It's the first garment that I knitted with bamboo. In my opinion it's a material highly recommendable. It slips easily and it can be knitted quickly. I believe that I'll repeat the experience soon.

RECICLANDO: DE FALDA A BOLSA DE LIBROS

 

En septiembre de 2015 me cosí esta falda. Con el paso del tiempo los cuerpos cambian de forma. No es que haya engordado sino que ahora mi cuerpo es diferente y esa falda ya no me queda bien. La tela me encanta y como he desistido de ponerme la falda la he descosido y he hecho una bolsa para los libros. No me digáis que no es perfecta para ir a las clases de francés.

In September 2015 I sewed this skirt. As time goes by bodies change their shape. It doesn't the fact that I'm getting fat, it's just that my body is different know and this skirt doesn't fit me anymore. I love the fabric and I give myself up wearing the skirt. So I unstichted it and I've sewed a tote bag for books. It's perfect for my Frech classes.

Para que sea más fuerte le he puesto forro con un bolsillo doble.

For making it stronger I've sewed a lining with a double pocket.

CAMISETA CALADA

Mi último trabajo de momento. 

Inspirada en una camiseta azul que me tejió mi madre cuando era una cría.

My last job at the moment. 

Inspired by another one that my mother knitted me when I was a teen. 

CHALECO VAINICAS

 

Dos ovillos que me tocaron en el sorteo que organizaron las chicas de "Un hada entre telas" el DITP, agujas del 9, un par de ratos y listo. Para rematarlo y coserlo usé hilo de esta nueva calidad. Lo hice con ganchillo nº 4. Otra prenda que tiene que esperar al otoño para ser estrenada.

Two balls that gifted "Un hada entre telas" the WWKP, needles 13 size, a while and that's all. For sewing and the edges I used this new yarn with hook number G/6. Another garment that must be waiting in the wardrobe until autumn.

CARDIGAN MULTICOLOR

 

Se quedó en espera mientras tejía las mantas de bebés.
Aunque hace mucho calor la he terminado ya porque no me gusta dejar los proyectos 
abandonados mucho tiempo. 
Ahora al armario a esperar que llegue noviembre.

It was in stand by while I was knitting and crocheting the baby's blankes.
Although it's scorching I've finished it now because I don't like abandoning my projects for long time.
Now it's waiting in the wardrobe until November.

DÍA INTERNACIONAL DE TEJER EN PÚBLICO

 He estado muy ocupada este mes y no he tenido tiempo de actualizar el blog.

El día 11 de junio celebramos el día internacional de tejer en público y el 18 las Tejedoras Murcianas Reunidas nos juntamos por primera vez este año. Con la emoción del momento se nos olvidó hacer fotos.

Sólo tengo ésta del día 11.

I've been pretty busy this month so I couldn't post in the blog.

June 11th we celebrated the World Wide Knit in Public day and the 18th Tejedoras Murcianas Reunidas joined first time this year. Because of the joy we forgot to take photos.

I have only this one from the WWKP.

PARA MARÍA

 A María la esperan la misma semana que a Gala. Le he tejido otra manta con la misma lana pero en ganchillo. El color se asemeja a la foto de Gala.

María is expected to be born the same week than Gala. I made another  baby blanket to her, with the same wool but this time crocheted. The real color is similar to Gala's picture.

PARA GALA

 

Esta manta es para la primera nieta de mis vecinos que nacerá en breve.

El modelo lo copie de una amiga tejedora.

I knitted this baby blanked to my neighbour's first grand-daughter who is going to be born soon.

I copied the pattern from a knitting friend.

CHAQUETA PARISINA

Mi hermana me trajo un par de ovillos en septiembre de su viaje a París.

Con otro par azul marino que tenía por casa me he tejido una chaqueta nueva.

Es muy suave y calentita.

My sister brought me a couple of balls from her trip to Paris last september.
With another two marine ones I knitted a new cardigan.
It's really soft and warm.

TRES ABUELAS

 

Tres amigas del gimnasio van a ser abuelas en breve, 
así que  he tejido unos patucos para sus nietos.

Three gym friends are going to be grand-mothers in a short time, 
so I knitted these baby boots for their grand-babys.

TOQUILLA

Esta toquilla es lo último que he terminado.
Es un regalo de cumpleaños para la madre de una amiga.

This cape is the last thing that I crocheted.
It's a birthday gift to one friend's mother.

CHAQUETA ROJA

 Casi un mes he tardado en tejer esta chaqueta. Atrás ha quedado el tiempo en el que podía tejer un suéter o una chaqueta en 8-10 días. 

He gastado 3 ovillos y medio de "Caricia brillo". Como compré 5 ovillos tengo lana para hacer un chal (ya pensaré cual).

El patrón ,como casi siempre, improvisado y los botones, como muchas veces, reciclados.

I needed almost a month to knit this cardigan. Long time ago, I just need 8 -10 days to knit a sweater or a cardigan.

I used 3 and a half balls of "Caricia brillo". I bought 5 balls, so I have enough leftover to make a shawl (I will decide what one)
