MANTA DE FLORES (II)

Cuando tejí la "manta de flores" de. IC tejí hice demasiadas flores. Me sobraron 32, en principio pensaba usarlas de posavasos, pero Marisa me aconsejó que las guardara para usarlas en otra manta cuando tuviera oportunidad. Por suerte le hice caso. 

Sonia, una antigua compañera de trabajo, está a punto de tener una niña. Yo estaba pensando en el modelo de manta que le iba a tejer, cuando de repente me acordé de las flores guardadas en una caja... Un par de semanas más tarde ya está lista la manta.

When I crocheted "the flowers blanket" to IC I made too much flowers. The leave me 32. I thought to make them as coasters, but Marisa advise me that better I keep them to use in another blanket. Luckily I did it.

Sonia, a forme colleague, is going to have a daugther. I was thinking about the blanket to crochet to her when I remember the flowers that were keeping into a box... A couple of weeks later the blanket is done.

 Otro mes completado. Sigo al día.

LA MANTA DE LA TEMPERATURA (III): ENERO

He tenido que empezarla dos veces porque la primera vez era demasiado estrecha. Ahora es aproximadamente de 130 cm.

Estoy usando un ganchillo del nº 4 1/2 . El punto muy sencillo: un punto bajo, una cadeneta (y en la siguiente vuelta al revés). El efecto es muy parecido al punto de arroz en dos agujas.

Para el principio y el final y separar los meses estoy tejiendo dos vueltas en color blanco. 

Predomina el azul celeste (10,01-15 ºC) y el verde (15,01 - 20ºC). 

Tan solo hay una vuelta a mitad de mes en un verde turquesa (ese día llegamos a 21ºC) y otro en azul marino porque no pasamos de los 6ºC. 

El día 18 fue especial porque nevó y hacía  34 años que  no nevaba en mi pueblo. No pasamos de 2ºC y le corresponde el color gris, pero le he añadido una hebra fina blanca-plateada en honor a la nieve.

Aunque voy muy retrasada espero ponerme pronto al día. 

El mes de enero lo he tejido este fin de semana.

I've started the blanket twice because de first time it was too narrow. Now it's about 130 cm.

I'm using a nº 4 1/2 crochet. The patern is very easy: one single crochet, one chain (and in the next round reverse). It's very similar to the knitting "point of rice".

For the beginning, the ending and to separate months I'm crocheting two rounds in white.

This month the most common is light blue (10,01-15 ºC) and green (15,01-20ºC). 

It's only one in turquoise green (that day it was 21ºC) another en dark blue (that day it was only 6ºC). 

The day 18th was very special because that day snowed in my town after 34 years. It's was only 2ºC and that day is un grey, but I've added a thin thread silver-white in honour to the snow.

Although I'm late I hope to catch up soon.

 I've crocheted January during this weekend.

LARGEST KNITTED BLANKET

Esta es mi pequeña contribución para la convocatoria de manta más grande del mundo. Si me hubiera enterado con más tiempo habría tejido más. Me hace ilusión pensar que formo parte de este proyecto para batir un récord y que una vez finalizado el evento servirá para ayudar a los más necesitados, puesto que la gran manta se d escoserá para formar mantas más pequeñas que se donarán a la Cruz Roja.

This is my little contribution to the announcement for the Largest Knitted Blanted in the World. If I've known this before I've kitted more squares, I like thinking that I'm a part of this exciting project to bet a record and when the event will finish, it will serve to help the needy because the blanket will be unpick forming small blanket to  be donated to the Red Cross.

REUNIÓN DESPUÉS DE LA NEVADA

Esta tarde ha sido nuestra primera reunión del año. Habíamos cambiado el lugar, pero debido a un inconveniente de última hora hemos tenido que volver a cambiar el sitio otra vez. 

Un principio de año un poco accidentado aunque la tarde ha sido divertida. 

Hoy hemos conocido a Ángeles (hermana de Marisa) y a Jessica una chica estadounidense que está pasando una temporada en España.

Las chicas hemos conseguido tejer durante esta semana casi 50 cuadrados para el proyecto de la manta más grande del mundo. Una vez que haya terminado el evento, descoserán la manta para hacer mantas pequeñas para donarlas a la Cruz Roja.

This aftnernoon we met the first time this year. We changed the placed to the meeting,but we had have trouble and we  have changed again at last time.

A new year troubled but funny.

Today we have met Ángeles (Marisa's sister) and Jessica and American girl that is living in Spain for a season.

We have knitted about fifty squares to the Largest Knitted Blanket. When the event will fnish, the blannket will divided into smaler ones and donated to the Red Cross.

MÁS MANTAS

Este año va a ser mi año de las mantas. Además de la "Manta de Flores" para mi hija, la "Manta Climática" (que por cierto va a ser muy especial porque hoy ha nevado en mi pueblo después de 34 años) anoche empecé la "Chocolate Box" para mi hijo para acabar con los restos de los resto. Y por si fuera poco las Tejedoras Murcianas Reunidas vamos a participar en la elaboración de la Manta Más Grande del Mundo.

This year will be my blankets year. Now I sewing de grannies of "The Flower Blanket", and I'm taking notes for the "Climate Blanket"(this blanket will be very special, because today is snowing in my town after 34 years) and also last night I began the "Chocolate Box" for my son. And if these are not enough , the Tejedoras Murcianas Reunidas are going to participate with the Largest Knitted Blanket in the World.
