CHAQUETA PARA PEPE

 Después de 20 años le he vuelto a tejer una chaqueta a Pepe. Antes le hice una gris. También le tejí dos jerseys: Uno negro y rojo con un diseño de dragones que hizo él (y que en invierno está en el respaldo de su silla gamer porque salió demasado grande) y un jersey irlandés en tweed que ahora usamos nuestra hija y yo (Se lo tejí el primer año que nos conocimos, entonces estaba muy muy delgado, ahora está delgado y no le sirve).

I've knitted a jacket to Pepe after 20 years. Previously, I knitted a grey one. Besides I made him two sweaters: One in black  and red with a dragon design that draw Pepe (now in winter is in the gamer chair because I knited it huge) and an Irish one with tweed wool that nowadays wear our daugther and I (I knitted it the year we met, then he was really skinny, now he is only skinny and it doesn't fit him).

REUNIÓN DE OCTUBRE

El pasado sábado nos reunimos en la bodega de Luci "Bodega con Arte", en Archena.

Aquí os dejo con las fotos. Faltó mi madre (que fue al teatro a ver "D. Juan Tenorio"), pero vino la madre de Marisa que es toda una artista. ¡Caramba que buena vista tiene la señora! Este verano bordó una cortina de vainicas.

Last Sturday we met at Lucy's "Bodega con Arte" in Archena. 

My mother wasn't there (she was to the theatre to whatch the play 'D. Juan Tenorio') but we met Marisa's mother who is a real artist. Awesome, what a superb eyesight the lady has! Last summer she embroidered a curtain with hemstitchs.

JUNTAS DE NUEVO

 Después de más de un año, ayer por la tarde volvimos a reunirnos. Todas muy felices de reencontrarnos. No os perdáis la foto de la super manta ¡Es alucinante!

Yesterday in the afternoon we met again after more than one year. All of us really happy to take up again. Don't miss the blanket photo. It's amazing!

DE PARÍS

 

Mi hermana pequeña viajó a París la semana pasada. Me envío una foto de una mercería y le encargué unos ovillos con los que tejerme algo similar al este suéter.

No me puedo resistir a la tentación, a pesar de que mi casa va pareciendo un almacén de lanas otras vez.

My youngest sister traveled to Paris last week. She sent me a photo of a wool store and I ask her for bringing me some balls to knit something similar to this sweater.

I can't resist the temptation, although my house looks like a wool warehouse again.

El segundo de la serie.

Este verano toca renovar las fundas de los cojines. Hace unos años hice seis fundas para los cojines del sofá y del orejero. Tejí el mismo patrón en colores diferentes.

Esta vez voy a tejer con el mismo color pero diferente patrón. Además de los del salón, voy a tejer dos para mi dormitorio. Reme me regaló un par de patchwork que por desgracia están estropeados por la parte de atrás. Los he guardado para renovarlos algún día. No sé si volverán a ser cojines o una bolsa para labores, ya se verá.

Cuando termine con los ocho, si no estoy demasiado aburrida de hacer lo mismo, tejeré otro par para las camas de mis hijos. Esta vez en los colores que prefieran.

This summer is time to renew the cushion covers. A few years ago I crocheted six covers for the cushions in my sofa and armchair. I made the same pattern but in different colours.

Now I'm going to crochet with the same colour but different patterns. Besides, I'll make a pair more to my bed. Reme gifted me a pair of patchwork covers but they are deteriorated in the rear part. I've kept them to give a new lease on life: I still don't know if they will be cushions again or a bag for handcrafts, we'll see.

When I finish all of them, if I'm not bored of doing the same, I'll crocheted a pair more for my children's beds This time they will be crocheted in the colours that they choose.
